Developing compassion is an inside job! Some people are naturally born with loads of compassion and love. Then, there are those of us who have to work on developing it. We have to find a natural balance with compassion, empathy and truth in our spirit. When we take time to meditate, contemplate love, good, truth and practice forgiveness we start developing more compassion and understanding with self-reflection. When we choose to love ourselves, we can be a little more forgiving when it comes to other people. We are all on this journey at different phases of our life and life cycles. Occasionally, we can get a little judgmental and point things out in others that bug us. This is usually a reflection about ourselves, in some way. When you feel the need to bring other's down or talk bad about them, ask yourself what you're missing in your spirit that feeds your inner joy and happiness. This isn't to blame you for finding fault, but it's a good time to do a check in with yourself. A good question to ask yourself; are you really manifesting your life the way you want to? Is there something coming up about your own self-worth or inner healing? To have compassion for others, we must also have compassion for our-self. It's also good to practice healthy boundaries! Sometimes this comes from emotional healing work, mental healing work or spiritual healing work.
